Researching Family History

I took a trip down memory lane with my Uncle Brian, 89, and my Auntie Julia, 83, to find out what life was like in their family home – where my mother grew up until she was 17. I also met my cousins Richard and Sarah, who I hadn’t seen for 40 years! What different lives they all had, even though they lived in the same house in Handsworth Wood. Brian was just a toddler when he was evacuated with my mother and her older sister to Studley in 1939.
