Ellen’s Gift of Hope awarded £1000 to the Great North Children’s Hospital PICU Ward. We presented the cheque to Dr Rachel Agbeko, who took care of Ellen, along with the all amazing nurses and doctors.
Ellen was in intensive care (PICU) for 5 days following her anaphylactic reaction. The care, kindness and compassion showed to us throughout this time was a great comfort to us. We are grateful Ellen was able to help others with her organ donations and we know she would be proud to continue her support to the Newcastle Hospitals Charity with this donation.
