At Ellen’s Gift of Hope, we believe every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to call home.
Daniel is a teenager with extremely complex needs. Following major spinal surgery, he lives with his mum, Fiona. Their previous accommodation was no longer suitable for Daniel’s needs, so they recently moved into a new home that has been specially adapted to make everyday life easier and safer for him.
While the essential adaptations transformed the house, there was one final piece missing – creating a bedroom that Daniel could truly call his own.
We were delighted to provide a £500 grant to help Fiona redecorate Daniel’s room, giving him a space that reflects his personality and provides comfort and a place to relax.
We’re so pleased we could play a small part in helping make their new house feel like a real home.
