We awarded £500 to the Child Bereavement Service at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVl) in Newcastle. The grant was to provide information and printed leaflets to families who have lost a child.
The team at the RVI provide much needed emotional support to families at an incredibly difficult time. When Ellen died, they were incredibly supportive and helpful to our family and we felt that it was important that other families are aware of the help that is available at such a traumatic time. We presented Rebecca Winn from the service with the grant for the production of leaflets.
