We are proud to support BeatAnaphylaxis, a local project run from the Great North Children’s Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, which aims to improve the care of those suffering paediatric anaphylaxis through provision of online resources for health professionals, educators, patients & their families.
Dr Andrew Bright, a leading Consultant in children’s allergy, accepted a donation of £1000 from Ellen’s Gift of Hope.
Ellen died from anaphylactic shock after she had a severe allergic reaction to food. Her sudden and tragic death was devastating and affects us every day for the rest of our lives. We hope this project will save lives through it’s important message to everyone about anaphylaxis and allergies.
