Fly High for Ellen was a great way to raise funds for Ellen’s Gift of Hope. Launched in November 2021, the challenge was to get the plane to 10,000ft by sponsoring every 100 feet for £10.
The amazing prize was a flight over Northumberland at 10,560 feet with an experienced pilot, Steve Hornsby, who donated this prize to help us raise funds for the charity.
The prize draw was on Christmas Eve 2021 and lucky winners Steve and Tina took to the skies in January 2022 from Eshott Airfield in Northumberland.
Thanks to everyone who took part in the fundraiser and a special thanks to Steve Hornsby for donating his time and the flight as a prize to raise £700 for the charity.
