We’re ending on a high at Ellen’s Gift of Hope with the results in from the Quiz. Grand Total raised is an incredible £2069, our best ever Christmas Quiz Fundraiser!
Thank you everyone who attended to support Ellen’s Charity, special thanks to Blyth Rugby and Cricket Club who once again hosted our event and David Humes our amazing Quizmaster! Special thanks go Croft Lodge Masonics who presented us with a cheque for £200. Big thanks to Ellen’s Angels Volunteers, the helpers behind the scenes and on the night, in particular Sharon Stafford, Wendy Lynn McGuigan, Roz Rennie, Deborah Charlton Trinder, Declan Baharini, Debbie Oliver and to best baker Abbey Raffell who made all the scrumptious cakes and biscuits. Also to Sharon Paton for pitching in on the night! As always there’s a lot to do to put on any event and Graham, Abbey & I are immensely grateful for all your help. Our Grand Raffle was supported by Blyth Rugby Club, Breeze, Kitty’s Homemade Ginger Wine, Wendy and Alison McGuigan who all gave kind donations. 1st prize to Carol Monaghan
Quiz Winners were the Ginger Nuts and thanks go to Blyth Rugby Club for the Drinks Hamper. Best Team Name went to Two Non-Gingers and The Myrrh the Merrier
